When a page in your AI coloring book fails, the tool retries it for you, and if it still fails you get the credits back. You can then press Retry page to try again. This page explains what happens in each case and what to do when a page finished but isn't what you wanted.
What happens automatically

You don't need to keep the tab open. Generation runs on our servers, and you can come back to the book from My Creation.
How to retry a failed page
- Open the book from My Creation, or stay on the generating screen.
- Find the page marked Failed in the page list.
- Click Retry page on that page. On the generating screen, Retry retries every failed page at once.
A manual retry costs 2 credits per page, the same as the first try. If it fails again, those credits are refunded too.
If a page fails with a content rule, retrying the same scene usually fails again. That happens most often with scenes that mention brands, famous characters or violence. Make a new short book with a gentler description instead.
A page finished, but it looks wrong
Finished pages can't be redrawn one by one, and their description can't be edited after generation starts. What you can do:
- Make a 3-page book for the missing scene. Use the same character and describe only the scene you need. It costs 8 credits, and you can pick the best of the three pages.
- Leave the page out when printing. The PDF and ZIP include every finished page; skip the page in your print dialog (for example, print pages 1–5 and 7–11).
- Next time, edit the plan first. On the Review pages step you can change every page's description, characters and caption for free. Most "wrong" pages come from a scene description that doesn't say what you meant.
Common causes of pages that look off:
- A side character changes from page to page. Pets or friends that appear only in the story text, without their own character, are redrawn each time. Create them as characters (up to 3 per book).
- Text on the page is wrong. Without captions, pages are drawn without text. With captions, check the spelling of each caption on the Review pages step.
- Too much detail for a young child. Choose Bold & Easy in Book setup.
Downloading a book with a failed page
You can download before every page is done. The tool warns you first, and the PDF or ZIP includes only the finished pages. See how to download your coloring book.
